I am a 26 year old daycare teacher residing smack dab in the middle of the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia.

While I have tried to keep a steady blog for several years, I have never actually succeeded.  This is another attempt to examine my travels through writing and photography in hopes to look back on all of it someday and smile.  I spend March-November (essentially) barefoot and have a great affinity for shoes despite my size 12, crooked toed pieds.  It was only after sifting through my Picasa albums that I noticed how many photos I have taken of my feet.   This sparked the idea to create a blog, which is where we are today.  I hope to keep track of the various places I find myself be it in a simple country store or on the shore of the Mediterranean.
